I'm a research leader and HCI Ph.D. who studies how people make high-stakes decisions in complex information environments. My work spans product research, AI-generated content, platform trust, crisis communication, and consumer decision-making.

Across industry and academia, I build research programs that help teams understand not only what users do, but what they believe, doubt, verify, ignore, and act on.

My dissertation examined severe weather livestreams as a case of platform-mediated expertise: how publics decide whom to trust when creators, institutions, algorithms, and real-time risk collide. I now extend that work into AI-mediated product experiences, synthetic content, trust & safety, and decision support systems.

Before and during the Ph.D., I built 0→1 research functions at Monster and AutoNation — standing up research infrastructure, method, and organizational vocabulary in places that had none. I currently lead UX research at AutoNation and am based in NYC, open to Boston, SF, and LA for the right role.
